I sourced this modern-style, original Mrirt rug in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs! Different tones of a bright, warm yellow & orange with vertical/horizontal cream lines woven deep into the wool & cream tassels on each ending. This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile & quite thick. I have extra pictures if you feel you need to see more about the colors, design or textures, so feel free to ask! Approximate dimensions are 6.8 to 7.2x8.8feet (+6inches tassels on each ending) / 210 to 220x270cm (+15cm tassels on each ending). Due to the handmade weaving technique, the rug is slightly larger at one ending than the opposite as I hope you can tell from the pictures attached. This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean & in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but it really is in a great shape! Pictures were taken in my bright & all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the texture & beautiful colors on this rug! This item will be shipped with DHL, for a fast & safe delivery.
