Wire Wall Art Blackbird As with all my work each piece is completely unique. I make each piece to order. They are made using black iron wire straight from the reel & handcrafted into the finished work using only pliers. I don't use jigs or prefabricated pieces & this ensures that every finished piece will be a one off. The wire has a natural rust to it & I spray the finished piece with a clear enamel spray to seal it & prevent rusting if hanging indoors. You can display it outdoors too but it will succumb to the weather & rust. This does it no structural harm and, in fact, adds extra depth & texture.
