A unique ornate dining table in bleached oak. A popular style from late 1800 -till mid 1900 -20th century UK; carved ornate structure representing the countryside ideal of Arts & craft area. This piece elegantly combines the artistic British craftsmanship with organic rustic country cottage style. The table made in draw leaf style , with two extension which is pulled from either end of the table independently . It has been slightly weathered since being stripped from its old wax & stains so it is more in keeping with Scandinavian style of furniture / French weathered antique . This table was designed for a small space with unique ornate appearance & is built to last many more generations, with thick & sturdy timber base that can withstand daily use by a busy family. The Table top in frame is solid oak but the central area of table top however is made up of veneer.
