Two stone birds watch the sunset on the shore, with sea glass ocean lapping at their feet. Sea shell & stone decorate the sand beach, & a shell sun hangs in the sky. The birds beaks & legs are drawn on using a wood burning tool. Sea glass used in this piece is tumbled; stone, shell & sand were all found on a Cape Cod beach walk. Decorative star fish added as an additional element. I was inspired to make this piece & my other stone bird pieces from watching all of the different birds on my beach walks. I love watching them in their natural environment. When I first began collecting stones at the beach, I could see how they could be transformed into the birds that live there in many different ways! Each piece I make is unique & made with care & love for the craft I am creating. Shipping is free for my pieces & I try to ship items the same or next day.
