These wooden leaves have been initially cut on a scroll saw then hand sanded & filed to give them a smooth finish. The veins have been burnt on with a Pyrography iron before the final sealing & gloss lacquer added. Some of the woods used Yew, Oak, Red Heart, Yellow Heart, Walnut, Olive, Sapele, Maple, Sycamore & Ash. They would fit perfectly in a fruit bowl with either real fruit or wooden fruit. Perfect to sit with a turned acorn. Sizes vary but they are approximately between 50mm - 80mm at the widest part & 100mm in length including the stem. Some of the exotic woods for e.g Red Heart & Olive wood maybe slightly smaller in the maple design due to the size of wood I have, they bring amazing colours to the leaves so I didn't want to not use them.
