Beautiful jade green Art Deco pitcher with flat topped, straight sided handle with lovely ribbed body. 1.3 liter capacity. 'Orchies', Made in France impressed on the base. Majolica glazing. This pitcher has been used as a vase as there is hard water residue on the interior so recommend it is not used for food products, but would make a lovely vase for cut flowers. Matches in color perfectly two other pitchers listed separately in my store (see photo 9). This pitcher can be seen in the center of the trio. MEASUREMENTS 7inches (17.5 cm) in maximum height Capacity 1.3 liters 755 grams / 1lb10oz / 26.6oz CONDITION Very good condition with limescale on the interior of the pitcher due to previous use as a vase. No chips. Discoloration of the base due to surface contact & age. Some dulling of the glaze in places also due to previous use & aging.
