Elegant & minimalist, this vintage pewter mid-century bud vase or small water or wine pitcher, is stunningly but simply beautiful. For lovers of all things old that are made from pewter, this is a lovely item to own. Very tactile & smooth & so simplistic in design - I fell in love with its elegant shape & handle immediately. Stamped on the base with the maker's crest & the words 'Les Etains' & 'Marque Deposee'. A lovely vase that will enhance any home - & could be added to a collection of similar pewter items - a lovely addition! Would look great displayed in a country farmhouse kitchen, perhaps with some small dried or fresh herbs or flowers (think lavender, rosemary, thyme, ferns, chinese lanterns, hydrangea, etc). MEASUREMENTS 7 3/4 inches (19.5 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm) in maximum diameter 261 grams CONDITION It's in a fabulous condition, just a tiny unevenness to one side of the base where it has had a previous knock but this is not really noticeable, I only noticed it on close inspection when running in finger around the bottom rim.
