This quilted table runner with pink cherry blossoms would look pretty on any dining or kitchen table, buffet or sofa table. SIZE: This table runner measures approx: 14.5 (36.75cm) x 40.5 (103cm). INGREDIENTS: The central panel of this table runner is a 100% cotton pretty pink cherry blossom on grey from a fabric collection called Sakura Park by Moda Fabrics. This then bordered by two narrow borders of sage green & bright pink then a wider final border of grey watercolour cherry blossoms. In many cultures, cherry blossoms symbolise the arrival of spring & a time of renewal. Called sakura in Japan, the blossoming trees are celebrated with gatherings & parties for family & friends. The finished front is then sandwiched with Hobbs Heirloom Premium wadding in the middle & backed with grey cotton fabric & cross hatch machine quilted on the central image in light grey cotton thread & straight line quilted along the borders with coordinating quilting cotton thread. The table runner is then bound with sage green binding which is machine stitched both front & back for durability. If you do need to wash your runner or topper I would suggest either cool machine wash or hand wash, then dry flat to avoid too much shrinkage as all my runners & toppers are made from 100% cotton fabrics & threads. Table runners & toppers can be ironed (pressed) on cotton setting with gentle steam when required. When despatching this item it will require folding, so when it arrives at its destination I would recommend ironing/pressing as per the above instructions. This table runner is decorative & does not have any insulation fabric incorporated in the design so please be aware that this cannot be used to protect your table top from very hot items.
