I was privileged to attend King's School in the grounds of Worcester Cathedral here in the UK. I was an unusual student in that I gained three Art A Levels all at Grade A. I then went to University where I gained a first class BA (Hons) Degree, Master's Degree & Doctor of Philosophy all in art subjects. My PhD thesis was about colour theory & transference - what makes someone like a work of art. My aim is to produce art that captures the spirit that makes us feel good about ourselves in some way. This can be a remembered day, or simply things that we like to be associated with. I now have over 200 designs & many different products. Finally I conducted Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Oxford in Entrepreneurship which has helped me build Selina-Jayne Designs into the Global Business it is today.
