Vintage Continental Silver Large Carved Cameo Signet Ring. Nice good quality ring with a large cameo at front in decorative silver frame. Unusually the ring is signet style & will be more suitable for men. The ring is in overall good vintage condition, shows general age an use related wear. The band of the ring is slightly misshapen which is not visible when the ring is worn. The ring is set with a carved shell cameo in decorative sterling silver frame. The cameo is in overall good condition without any visible damage. The front of the ring measures approx. 20mm in height x 16mm in width with central cameo measuring approx. 17mm x 13mm. The ring is stamped on the outside of band '800'. The rig has been an acid tested positively for Low Grade Silver. The ring weighs approx. 6.7 grams on my scales & is in UK size T (US 9 1/2).
