Very Large Art Deco Sterling Silver Bright MORPHO Blue BUTTERFLY WING Pendant on Sterling Silver chain. It's beautifully made pendant with bright & vibrant Morpho Blue Butterfly wing in sterling silver setting. PENDANT will be send attached to long (25,5inch) Sterling Silver chain. The chain is not original to the pendant & was added later. The pendant is in overall good vintage condition, shows general wear related to age & use. The butterfly wing is in good condition, colors are vibrant. It has some discoloration on the wing which are around edge & noticeable when are looked under angle. The pendant is quite large & measures approx. 4.8cm long including bale (4.1cm without bale) x 4.1m wide. The pendant is stamped on the back with 'sterling'. The chain is 25.5inch long. The chain is stamped on the bale '925' for sterling silver. The chain has been an acid tested positively for sterling silver. The necklace weighs approx. 25.2 grams on my scales.
