Here is a listing for a beautiful handmade acorn decoration using a genuine sea worn marble found in Scotland. This is a really beautiful opaque marble, with red & white swirls. It has the expected pits & 'c' marks when examined closely telling tales of its adventures in the sea. These acorns are made from a real acorn cap with a genuine sea glass marble inserted. As Autumn/Winter approaches, this would look beautiful hanging on a twig or similar in your window, or on a Christmas tree. We don't create a huge stock of these, but do make examples using sea marbles (glass & clay), stopper stems (both glass & vulcanite) & sea glass 'bubbles'. These have been very popular over the last seven years as an eco-friendly decoration for your Christmas tree. My family & I enjoy the tradition of making something special each year. This would make really special, unique gift for a loved one. My pieces come as found- I do not do anything to them other than give them a gentle rinse in mild soapy water.
