A heavy antique George II period oak hanging corner cupboard. Pegged mortice & tenon joints to the oak door & surround. Hand carved arched panel to the door with external brass H shaped hinges. Brass escutcheon & later small brass handle. Internally there are two shaped shelves. Pine boarding to the rear with holes for fixing to the wall. An excellent piece of mid 18th century vernacular oak furniture. Circa mid 18th century. Measurements: Height: 30.5 (78cm) Width: 26.25 (67cm) Depth: 14.5 (37cm) Condition: Lacking key to the lock & minor emulsion paint marks to the rear frame.
