Vintage Yellow Glass Table Lamp 1960s 1970s Beautiful medium sized lamp in butterscotch yellow with orange at the base. 'UFO' shaped glass lamp incorporates cool Atomic Era styling. This lamp design is usually attributed to Holmegaard of Denmark but similar styles were made in the Empoli region of Italy & this is believed to be one of those. Handmade in Denmark or Italy in the 1960s/70s. Approximately 32cm high, including the lamp holder, & 17cm wide at its widest point. Excellent fully working vintage condition. Will be rewired with a new switch & lampholder. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Note that we have attempted to show & state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item & some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. Handmade items may have small manufacturing imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness & charm. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens & the device the image is viewed through.
