Small Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic 1960s Table Lamp Unusual small handmade Danish table lamp. Features a glossy olive green glaze with dark amber & pale green highlights & a ‘tiger stripe’ design. Designed by Arne Finne & Noomi Backhausen. Signed ‘AN’ to indicate Arne & Noomi. Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s. Has artists initials & model number etched on its base. Very good full working vintage condition with only minor signs of age. It is 18cm high including the original lampholder & 10cm wide at its base. _____________________________________________________ It has been fully refurbished with a brown vintage look braided cable. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). in the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included). If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
