Soholm Pottery Danish Pearl Ceramic Table Lamp Extremely beautiful & rare pearlescent glaze like the inside of a shell. Small/medium lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s. Features a shimmering light glaze in cream, light yellow, light purple & sea green. Has a band of textured relief design. Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stenjoj in the 1960s/70s. Has manufacturer's details etched on its base. 24cm high including the lamp holder & 9cm wide. Excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age. As this lamp hasn't been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange & old gold. Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable & a new switch. We will attempt to reuse the original lamp holder where practicable, but may replace it with a modern E27 fitting. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American plug. If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Note that we have attempted to show & state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item & some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens & the device the image is viewed through.
