Vintage Danish Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp 1960s 1970s. Large mustard yellow / golden brown studio pottery table lamp. Features a glossy glazed, slightly textured mottled golden brown neck. Has an espresso brown base with a geometric inset design. Made by Michael Anderson & Sons Ceramic Studio. Probably designed by Marianne Starck who was MA&S’s main designer at the time. Has the manufacturer’s 3 fish logo & model number 6175 etched to its base. Handmade on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s/70s. 35cm high, including the original white Bakelite lampholder, & 12cm wide at the base. Excellent vintage full working condition. ___________________________________________________________ It has been rewired with a gold coloured vintage look braided cable retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). The bulb in the photos is a vintage-look G95 LED Filament bulb. If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should fit but because they are 1mm smaller may need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
