Vintage Holmegaard Glass Danish Table Lamp. Large, unusual & rare pink art glass lamp. The colour is officially called Rose. Features a marble like design in muted shades of pink, coral & purple. Troll (Trold in Danish) lamp, designed by Sidse Werner in 1975. Handmade by Holmegaard in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen. Made by Holmegaard on the Danish island of Funen between 1975 & 1984. Approximately 32cm high, including the lamp holder, & 10cm wide. Excellent fully working vintage condition. Sidse Werner was a Danish architect & industrial designer, probably best known for her 1971 Coat Tree design for Fritz Hansen. She died in 1989. _______________________________________________________________ We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American plug. It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included), the light bulb in the photos is a vintage-look LED Filament G95 ‘radio spiral’. If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
