Exquisite bud vase with an engraved flying swan. Mouth-blown in ice blue crystal glass by Asta Strmberg for the Swedish glassworks Strmbergshyttan in the early 1950s. The engravings are done with a small copperwheel by hand & this technique is very delicate. Notice the beautiful prisms in when the sun hits the crystal. Classic Scandinavian Design from the mid-century. Signed & with catalog number B852 in perfect vintage condition & high value to collectors of Swedish Artglass Pictures are taken in both studiolight & with background decor to get the best impression of the piece.
