Handmade Rustic Industrial Dining Table on a Cast Iron Machine Base The Cast Iron Base was cast in the late between 1880-1920 by 'Henry Bamford & Sons' of Uttoxeter, England. This company is non-other than JCB's (Big yellow diggers) Grandfathers. These original grinding machine bases are hard to come across & increasingly rare, we travel the country looking for them to lovingly restore & help preserve a piece of British industrial history By ordering this one you will be ordering the base in its original form, simply cleaned up & lacquered to keep it in its raw beauty like the one pictured. We finish off the top with a few coats of an industry leading Jacobean Wax for a longlasting protective finish & then give you some wax in case you need any future touch ups. The table pictured is a completed project that measures 2M X 90cm. At this size it seats 6-8 people. We can make the tables to any size, By Ordering the table you will be ordering the top at 2M x 90cm however if you require a different size contact us with your requirements. Made to Order, each table is completely unique. From point of order we will handmake, deliver & install your new dream dining tables within 3 weeks.
