Handmade Industrial Dining Table on a Cast Iron Machine Base The Cast Iron Base was cast in the late between 1880-1920 by 'Henry Bamford & Sons' of Uttoxeter, England. This company is non-other than JCB's (Big yellow diggers) Grandfathers. These original grinding machine bases are hard to come across & increasingly rare, we travel the country looking for them to lovingly restore & help preserve a piece of British industrial history By ordering this one you will be ordering the base stripped back & repainted matt black for a clean industrial look like the one pictured. We can paint it any colour, if you a colour other than black let us know when placing the order. We also have 45mm thick reclaimed pitch pine which also works fantastically We finish off the top with a few coats of an industry leading Jacobean Wax for a longlasting protective finish & then give you some wax in case you need any future touch ups. We can make the tables to any size, By Ordering the table you will be ordering the top at 2M x 90cm however if you require a different size contact us with your requirements.
