Description
This stylish Art Deco style lamp has been made from an original 1930s butterscotch coloured early plastic centre & an original 1930s glass shade, combined with a more modern chrome base & fittings. It is in very good overall condition, when the shade is removed from the lamp there are some very small surface chips to the very bottom of the shade but these cannot be seen when the shade is attached to the lamp base. Please see all the photos & zoom in for details. Please note that the early plastic has not been tested to establish its exact type, however it looks to be phenolic. It measures 300mm high, glass shade width 170mm, lamp base width 150mm. Please note that this lamp is in working order & it will be supplied with a bulb, however it will be shipped without a plug so you should consult a qualified electrician before using the lamp as it is a vintage item.
