This vintage bowl was made in Mexico, in the area of Oaxaca. This type of pottery is usually bright-colored flowers. The pottery is redware with a glaze over it. Most often these pieces were broken, because they are more fragile than many other pottery. It is hard to find large pieces like this in good condition.
