Pottery serving bowl in a smooth white satin glaze. Super useful in the kitchen, I use these for all sorts of things; olives, olive stones, dips & sauces of all kinds, for putting stones & pips in or cocktail sticks, for salt & seeds & nuts. The images are of the actual bowl you will receive, as the finger bowls are handmade & all individual in character. Useful small serving bowls. Dimensions: height 5cm width 10cm Fired to stoneware temperature the bowl is food, dishwasher, oven & microwave safe. treat as with pyrex, i.e do not place the bowl on a clod surface out of a very hot oven. If buying from overseas please note I refund any overcharge in postage costs once I have arranged carrier & have a confirmed price for your delivery. A little about how I make these finger bowls. The are thrown on the wheel & cut off with a wire & then left to dry until leather hard. Once they are firm enough they are turned upside down & turned to crate the foot ring on the finger bowl. later I glaze the inside of the bowl with a raw clay glaze & again leave to firm up. When dry enough again I glaze the outside again in the same green clay glaze. Now again they need to be left to dry again, but not too much. when firm again I glaze inside the fool ring of the finger bowl & now they can be left to thoroughly dry out before packing into the kiln for firing, the firing takes a day with another day for the kiln to cool.
