This gorgeous pair of 1950s desk lamps look so good together. Their simple forms will look spectacular on your desk alongside all the modern technology. They're in excellent condition, especially considering their age, & have just a few small wear marks on the brass edging & some slight discolouring on the matt texture near the switches. They both take small E27 bulbs, & both work, but the switch on one of them may need replacing, & you will need to add a plug, too. The wiring is original so it will benefit from being replaced, especially as you will need to meet your local wiring requirements. The lamp with the more conical shade has a wire that runs up the gooseneck support & then runs alongside the bulb to the back of the light fitting. This will have got hot in times before LED lamps, & the slightly blackened wire can still be seen. This is how it was, testament to the times.
