Welcome to the sale of this large vintage picture frame. Made of wood covered with gilded gesso this large frame has a great decorative look. It is highly decorated with acanthus leaves, flowers & scrolls. It has a card backing board that would be improved with a sheet of hardboard & a crude hanging rope that should be replaced really. To the front it is glazed. However it also has a superb poster inside of Led Zeppelin standing in front of their tour jet 'Starship'. I have to say I really like the poster, but it's easy to remove if you wish & the old print of George William Campbell the 6th Duke of Argyle (Yawn) may well be underneath. The listing is priced for the frame, the Zeppelin comes free! Being big & rather bulky delivery will need to be via our 'by hand' courier, just contact me with your postcode for a delivery quote. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed. DIMENSIONS: The frame measures (in cm) 120 wide, 95 tall & 8 deep. Front opening measures ~ 100 wide by 74.5 tall. Rear opening measures ~ 102 wide by 76 tall. CONDITION: in good condition commensurate with its age & use. There is some old minor damage & repairs to the gesso & gilt.
