Welcome to the sale of this fabulous set of index drawers. Made of oak these index drawers have a lovely aged patina. Each drawer has a brass handle & notation slide marked with a GR & crown for King George the VI & was most likely a government commission. The drawers inners are nice & clean & have solid bases. Ideal for all sorts of storage, however they especially useful & coffee tables & television stands. I have also seen them with legs added to make unusual & interesting side tables. I have one as a wine rack... Being big & rather heavy delivery will need to be via our 'by hand' courier, just contact me with your postcode for a delivery quote. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed. DIMENSIONS: The drawers measure (in cm) 35 tall, 77 wide & 54 deep. They weigh 33kg Usable area in each drawer is 14.5cm tall, 20.5 wide & 50 deep. CONDITION: This is a vintage item in good condition, commensurate with its age & use.
