This is a beautiful Professionally preserved Antique Turkmen Tekke Rug from Circa 1900, hand-woven during the World War 1 Time period. Made by the Tekke Tribe in ancient city of Merv, Turkmenistan. There is silk workmanship done on the Rug as well, like in the center, where we see the beautiful Tekke Guls, the Dark Red highlights is Silk as it can be seen in the detailed pictures, fingers can be seen pointed at that specific parts where Silk has been used. The Long fringes of the Rug that is pure hand-spun Wool. Truly, a collector's piece.
