Original Cyanotype Framed Wildflower Print. An original cyanotype print created by ourselves, all inspired by the woodlands around us. ( This is the original & not a reprint.) A beautiful cyan blue tone, this image is created by the use of sunlight in a photo light sensitive process. We like our cyanotypes to retain an original & organic style, this has been dipped in the chemicals rather than brushed on, each print is unique & the cyan blue tones are always varied , this is quite deliberate on our part by using different exposure times, wash times & fluid concentrations. The process of cyanotype dates back to the 18th Century & is where the original term blueprint came from. Our paper of choice is 320gram handmade 100% recycled cotton rag paper.
