SOLD SOLD SOLD Please contact me if you would like me to do a similar piece for you. This quality mid century sideboard has had a complete makeover in our workshop. Manufactured by British furniture makers Jarmin & Platt renowned for their quality & retailing in high end stores. The top & flap for the drinks cabinet has been refinished to reveal the beauty of the original veneer. The doors have been decoupaged with Hicks Hexagon wallpaper in teal, grey & gold. Everything else has been painted in a stunning mid grey colour matched to ‘Down Pipe’ by Farrow & Ball. There are two cupboards, one to left & one to the right of a central drinks cabinet area. The cupboard base & shelf have been painted grey. The drinks area consists of a pull down flap which on opening reveals a metal gold leaf area perfect for storing & pouring drinks! The original cocktail sticks are in place to the sides. Under the drinks area are two drawers which we have oiled to rejuvenate. The original handles have been cleaned & resprayed gold. All our painted vintage furniture is throughly checked, treated for woodworm as a precaution, repaired where necessary, we then ensure the drawers all run smoothly before cleaning, sanding, priming & applying a minimum of two top coats in our workshop by a professional painter & decorator. This stunning grey is matched to Farrow & Balls ‘Down Pipe’ by Victory Colours. This paint is cruelty free, vegan, ultra low VOCs with exceptionally low odour & is highly durable.
