Made from Tola (an African mahogany) with ebonized legs, shelves, cupboard door with brass handles, ferrules & shelf brackets, it exudes quality & is incredibly stylish! Made by G Plan it bears the EG - E Gomme gold stamp. Designed as a room divider the back looks good too it works equally well as a wall unit. There is a cupboard at the base with sliding doors & contains a shelf. Further up is another cupboard with a pull down door. This has a letter rack incorporated so could be used like a bureau for an instant home office. Or, if you prefer the letter rack can be taken out (it just sits like a shelf on small holders) & this area can then be used as a drinks cabinet! The flap is sturdy enough to pour drinks on or write a letter, the choice is yours! All in its original condition, we have given it all a good clean & polish, there are signs of use that you would expect of a piece of this age. Notably an indentation to one of the sides & a small area of discolouration on one of the surfaces, please see the photos.
