The Hanging Shelf with Black Triangular Brackets is part of our 356 North furniture collection. It offers sustainable, stylish, Scandi inspired plywood furniture with a pared back minimalist vibe. The shelf comes in a choice of two lengths. The shelves have a clean contemporary look & create decorative storage space for books, plants & vases. Hang in the lounge, bedroom, kitchen or hallway as a single shelf or grouped together at varying heights. The shelves are handmade in the North West of the UK using sturdy, high grade FSC certified plywood. As well as being sustainable, durable & affordable our plywood furniture is also quickly becoming the first choice to complement contemporary interiors due to its natural pale light grained finish. The wood has been finished with two layers of Osmo Polyx Oil Raw which retains the 'raw', light characteristics of untreated wood. The end result is a smooth, beautiful finish with nearly-invisible protection. It dries to a clear matt finish & keeps light interior wood looking light. It provides a tough, durable finish & is scratch & scuff-resistant. Made up of numerous bonded strips of wood the edges of 356 North have been left exposed to make an attractive feature of the ply layers. The sleek handcrafted metal powder coated matte black triangular metal brackets are the ideal choice in adding to the simple clean lines of this collection. The triangular brackets are easy to fit with just two screws (not provided) All that is needed is a standard size cross head screwdriver. NB: screws not provided as the choice of screws will depend on the type of wall the shelf is being fitted to.
