Hand Carved Ceramic & Mosaic Bowl We asked local potter Monte Young (etsy shop Monte Young Pottery) to throw this stoneware bowl for us after which we carved this bold pattern onto the exterior. After bisque firing we glazed it in our favorite bright & cheerful palette of colors & fired again. On the exterior we added touches of semiprecious stones & grout for a mosaic effect. We think it would be fresh & fun as a salad bowl, an eye-catching island centerpiece, or useful as a generous fruit bowl. Hand wash only. We do not recommend immersing in sink of water.
