Should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose on. Vintage or antique. No matter how new it is, it will always have an element of oldness ! It will not look brand new modern clothing from the shops. There may also be minor flaws. I always try to list the flaws but some may get missed for example if the dress is just lace alone it’s easy to miss the odd break. Or miss tiny pin hole that can only be seen when worn or held up to light ! Note to consider when buying Edwardian or victorian blouse : The sleeves may not be long to the wrist but more of a 3/4 length Some may fall longer in the body or more of a crop style! Buttons also may vary in shape & size on the same blouse, these blouses are old & would have lost buttons along the way therefore is common to see. The blouse may look big & loose but the shoulders or opening of the arm will be small. If an item is marked Xs but looks loose & big it really is XS on the upper body.
