This helps ensure our furniture is environmentally friendly. The scaffold wood is made from solid European whitewood. The hairpin legs are made from furniture grade steel rod. The scaffold legs are made from heavy-duty galvanised steel. Finish All options listed in the finishing's colour chart below (and shown in the photo at the top of the listing) are available. The table in the main image has been finished with natural Danish oil. If you are interested in a different finish, please get in touch. COLOUR FINISHES Sanded Natural Wood: This is where the wood undergoes various stages of sanding so that the wood is smooth, whilst still keeping the original grain & natural colour. For wood that is left natural, we recommend sealing to preserve the wood & to prevent accidental damage or stains. Natural Danish Oil: After sanding the wood, layers of this oil offer a light & cheerful finish. We recommend this style to help brighten up any room. Dark oak Danish (Jacobean) Oil: after sanding the wood, layers of this oil offer a rich & sophisticated finish. We recommend using this style to add a touch of warmth or professionalism. Although the wood is protected, water should not be left to stand for long periods of time. Please use a clean damp cloth to clear up the water. Custom made At Robert Rose we offer bespoke furniture to be custom made to your requirements. This includes custom dimensions, finishes & shapes. Whether you have an unusual idea in mind, or you simply need to fill a certain nook & cranny in your house we would be more than happy to discuss your project with you. Quality Our furniture is built to last for many years with little maintenance required. The oils provided protect the surface from stains & water residue. Each piece of wood has its own character & style. When selecting boards from our stock we only select those that we would be happy to have in our homes. Each piece is then sanded to a fine finish before applying any finishing oils if requested by you. The beauty of our product is the natural feel & rustic effect. This means imperfections are likely. Any unacceptable imperfections in the creator's opinion have been omitted. Please be aware that some small imperfections including company branding, abrasions, differences in colour, cuts, notches, dents may still appear if we believe they add to the furniture's aesthetics.
