This stunning mirror is over six feet long & would have been a dresser top or an overmantle fireplace piece. This company made both types & specialised in high end furniture. They were based at Tottenham Ct Rd. London in the 19th century. Exceptional high quality carvings & construction. Name plate is mounted on the back. Solid Oak panelled construction. Very high quality carving throughout with acanthus leaf turned columns & wonderful high relief carved panels leading to a bevelled edge mirror. in beautiful condition & a lovely colour. Two cupboards with carved female masks, one each side with original keys These are popular as bed headboards & look fantastic over a double bed. A nice place to keep a book & a cup of coco. The base dimensions are 158 x 22 cm. The top dimensions are 184 x 34 cm 126 cm high. 68 kg unpackaged weight. Unfortunately I forgot to polish the mirror glass before photographing. It shines up very nicely & only has very slight foxing when you look really closely. Items such as this will require very precise & extensive packaging.
