Our Whisky Quaich. The Quaich is a Scottish drinking cup which dates from the 16th century, the name coming from the Gaelic word Cuach which means cup. Traditionally used to offer guests a wee dram of whisky as a welcome or farewell. It is nowadays recognised as a symbol of friendship, admiration & respect. Our Quaich is drink safe so you too can enjoy a wee dram in the traditional way. This quaich is made from Scottish Burr Elm & measures 15cm diameter. Approximately 5.5cm high. Individually turned on the lathe in our workshop, it makes an extra special & very Scottish gift. It comes with a gift box as shown & some information about quaichs.
