A gorgeous & very rare 1977 G Plan / E. Gomme model 3573E 'Thai Occasional Long Table' coffee table, designed by Wilkins/Victor Bramwell. This faux bamboo & rattan range was only produced in 1977/8 on a short run. See final picture for original catalogue image, accompanied by the following text: 'With solid wood turnings in hardwood, polished & shaded to a warm, honey colour. 3573E: Long table with bevelled clear glass top & natural cane shelf. W. 48", H. 18", D. 21". Price: £59.00' (Equivalent to £335 in today's money.) This piece is in overall excellent condition, with minor marks to the bevelled glass top & the odd scuff mark to the wood in places, as to be expected of its age. A lovely collectable piece that fits perfectly into the current boho bamboo/biophilic interior trend. Absolutely gorgeous!
