A beautiful britannia silver photograph frame. The frame is hallmarked for RH anchor 958 Silver with the 958 mark is known as Britannia silver. Britannia silver has a millesimal fineness of at least 958. The alloy is 95.84% pure silver & 4.16 percent copper or other metals. The Britannia standard was developed in Britain in 1697. This has a higher silver content than sterling 925 silver There is some wear to this but it is less noticeable due to the pattern of the silver. No glass but what looks like a clear thin piece of plastic I will be listing many Antique, Vintage & Retro items & will be very happy to combine postage for multiple purchases.
