These wonderful set of Chiavari 4 x dining chairs are made by Italian Designer Manufacturer Podesta. These chairs are unique in the fact that they are very light but at the same time very resistant. They have been designed with each component made for specific stresses it needs to carry. A lot of the components of the chair are handmade & these chairs have a classical feel but at the same time would fit into any modern environment. The backs of the chairs are spindle back in a beech satinwood with a lovely carved shape to the top. The seats have a chic velvet fabric in blue with gold diamond design. The chairs have spindle shaped stretchers & legs. This Chiavari chair was originally designed by Giuseppe Gaetano Descales & crafted for two centuries in the Ligurian coastline city of Chiavari, Italy. These are very unique & extremely rare dining chairs. Each chair is stamped with Podesta Chiavari Italy. Measurements: (Approx) 4 x Dining Chairs Overall height/width/depth 94cm H x 43cm W x 41cm D Height to seat: 45cm Seat Width: 43cm Seat Depth: 41cm All of our furniture has been restored/upcycled professionally with care & attention using quality paints & materials.
