Vintage French Tapestries / Needlepoints re-worked into a UNIQUE & ONE OF A KIND Cushion, Pillow, Coussin Cover- A bouquet , A fisherman on the banks of the river ,A single stem of Iris & a Cowboy of the wild west -all re worked together into a collage pillow- all hand stitched- creating a one of a kind pillow Cover -On the reverse we have used a length of vintage Green velvet -The colours are strong & unfaded- This pillow is approx 22" x 18" /or 56 cms x 46 cms. It has a zipper at the base- with a real leather beaded pull We recommend 'Spot clean' or this pillow would wash by hand at 30 degrees. -We have created using vintage French Tapestries/Embroideries which have all been completed by hand many years ago ! (we wash all our Tapestries by hand before creating each cushion- we do not use any harsh detergents) - we then work several together by hand & with a machine- double stitching & over locking all edges to ensure they last for many more years. Many hours- often weeks of work & skill went into completing these original tapestries -and we believe they should be valued. By reworking them into a pillow- they will sit perfectly in a traditional environment or a contemporary space & create an eye catching focal point & a great conversation piece.
