This Christmas stocking has been upcycled from a pre-loved handmade quilt. Featuring a traditional Ohio Star quilting pattern & vintage floral fabric each stocking is completely one-of-a-kind; the perfect eco-conscious heirloom for your home. Please note that due to the vintage & handmade nature of this piece there are clear signs of it's history; loose threads, light stains, visible mending, & fading, all of which are part of the textiles story. I hope that by repurposing vintage quilts in need of repair I can give them a new life & a home that appreciates the craftsmanship & love that has gone into making them. Need to know: - Handcrafted in my London home studio. The original patchwork has been repaired with hand-stitching, construction of stocking has been machine stitched. - Fully lined with natural seeded Oeko-Tex cotton. - Stocking is approx 52cm long x 23cm wide.
