A versatile accessory, the greens & blue striped wool headcover has a layer in a plain midnight blue colour of soft & fine geelong wool. This beanie shaped hat is double layered for extra warmth & a smooth fit. With enclosed seams it is neatly reversible. A loosely medium sized hat, the hemline circumference unworn & laid flat measures 21.5 inches or 54.5 cms. It can stretch to around 25 inches or 63.5 cms & could fit a larger sized head quite snugly. The length from centre crown to hemline edge is 10 inches or 25.5 cms. From hem edge to edge, over the darted to shape crown, is 24 inches or 61 cms. This determines how much it will cover the ears. A photo depicts this hat with the hem folded up to show how it looks in reverse with the dark blue colour uppermost. The stripes are multi colours of navy & teal blues, moss green, sea foam, yellow & beige. An eco friendly gift for him or her that weighs 66 grams. Made in England from exclusively regathered material; I use 'zero waste' production methods, nice, sustainable, albeit this headcover is unique. The recycled geelong lambswool knitwear fabric is in excellent condition with no piling, nice & smooth! The fine gauge knitting is lovely & lightweight, an excellent quality of pure & soft natural wool. The stripe wool material is not as smooth, but together they make for a nicely insulating & cosy headcover. For aftercare please wash as delicate woollens, preferably a handwash & air dry.
