This handmade mug has been glazed in one of my new glazes, Corncockle. Thrown on the potters wheel. Mug Approximate measurements: Width at top 8.2cm Height 8.6cm Capacity: approx. 340ml to the rim White stoneware, this glaze is soft to touch, silky semi matt, Corncockle, a white shiney interior glaze. Aster flower imprints. Makers mark visible. Gift box wrapping available at checkout as in the last photo. The imprints on this piece are made with stamps, I make my own stamps using buttons & earings & a cork screw to hold them in place! The stamp is pressed into the clay, then once fired it is glazed, the imprints create a textural & decorative surface for the glaze to break over. Mug in Corncockle, With Aster Flower Imprints
