This handmade baby ceramic planter has been thrown on the potters wheel. Approximate measurements: Height 6.5cm Width 7.9cm Help cord Cord length approx. 37cm. Using a buff stoneware clay, which has been glazed in a Jade Green matt glaze, grey & cream, imprint decoration. Makers mark visible on underside (see close up photo's). The plant is just for decoration & not included in the sale. The imprints on this piece are made with stamps, I make my own stamps using buttons & earings & a cork screw to hold them in place! The stamp is pressed into the clay, then once fired it is glazed, the imprints create a textural & decorative surface for the glaze to break over. Process Handmade pottery can seem expensive, the cost is due mostly to the time it creates to make one individual piece. Ceramic wares are thrown on the potters wheel, trimmed, left to dry then bisque fired, then glazed & glaze fired & finally bottoms are sanded! Baby Hanging Planter, Jade, Cream & Grey Glazed Pottery
