A beautiful handmade work of art for any room in the house, crafted from little crotchet hearts, which have been carefully placed to create a large rainbow. This large rainbow wall hanging consists of 9 violet heart, 12 indigo hearts, 15 blue hearts, 17 green hearts, 20 yellow hearts, 22 orange hearts & 24 red hearts. Altogether, 119 colourful hearts combine to make this rainbow. The little hearts have been crocheted by myself, using 100% cotton yarn. They are mounted on an arched piece of MDF, which I have painted in light blue (to represent the sky) & varnished to protect. The rainbow wall art is ready to be hung on the wall as it includes the necessary brass plated fixtures. The rainbow measures 58cm across & the arch itself is 20cm wide. The total hight of the rainbow is 30cm (see above photo). Your rainbow wall hanging will also include a set of information cards about the rainbow, explaining its meaning in different cultures throughout the world & why it is so special to us.
