A Collage of Driftwood & Seashells - Original Art work. There is nothing more special than a gorgeous piece of driftwood. How long has it been drifting in the sea for it to turn out so smooth? The pieces of driftwood in this collage are all very unique & characterful. The shells I have chosen for this collage are a variety of different Top Shells. There are Flat Top Shells, Grey Top Shells and, my absolute favourite, Turban Top Shells. The splashes of blue are created by some smooth blue pebbles. I never visit a beach without starting a collection of interesting finds... pieces of sea glass, pottery, pebbles, shells or drift wood... I am a complete beach combing addict. To create this Collage, I have combined some of my very favourite treasures, some of which are quite rare & difficult to find. All the seaside treasures in this Collage complement each other perfectly, giving a real feel of seaside, coastal living & beach life. I spend a long time laying out the treasures first, matching colours, shapes & sizes. Once I am happy with the overall design, each piece is then carefully glued into place. This is an original piece of Art work - no two pieces will ever be the same. The Collage of Driftwood & Seashells is a piece of art that would look lovely in any room of the house & would make a lovely gift for any seaside / beach lover. The white box frame was handmade by my husband, especially for this collage. It measures 46cm x 46cm. The frame has two hooks so that it can be hung on a wall. The frame is glass fronted. All beach treasures are mounted onto quality, off-white, mounting board. The Collage of Driftwood & Seashells will come to you, carefully wrapped in tissue paper, in a protective box.
