These beauties are really durable; they have seen a few different generations & still have many more years to come. Size: 13'2X6'6 (400cm x 198cm) Material: wool Estimated Age: Circa 1940 Soumak is a type of flat weave, somewhat resembling kilim, but with a stronger & thicker weave, a smooth front face & a ragged back, where kilim is smooth on both sides.
