Description
A good size Art Deco mirror in a period design. It is made up of five individual pieces, one main plate & four green mirrored sections. The main plate is rectangular shaped with a pie crust edge. There is a rear etched linear design which accentuates the rectangular shape & adding a further geometric design to this lovely mirror. The centre plate has four insert cuts which house the four green mirrored sections. These pieces abut the main plate forming a snug fit, their outer edges have the pie crust design which flows with the main plate. There are no chips, nibbles or deep scratches on any of the five pieces. There is some minor foxing & very light misting which doesn't affect the reflectivity when hung (see pics). All of the above is not unusual & is consistent with a mirror of this age. All five mirrored sections are mounted on a wooden backboard & attached with traditional metal clips. The original fixtures & fittings are attached to the rear too.
