This stunning geometric art deco mirror is in excellent condition. It is made up of five component parts, a large centre plate & four green glazed mirrored outer sections. The centre plate is a rectangular shape with cropped corners. It has a deep bevelled edge all round, this is a thick piece of mirror & adds weight to the complete mirror & is a good measure of its age. The four outer sections are green glazed mirrored glass, bevelled edged & cut to synchronise with the angles of the centre plate. The five pieces give a great geometric shape synonymous with the deco period. This mirror is in excellent condition, it has no nibbles, chips or deep scratches. The reflectivity is very good on all of the five individual pieces, there is no misting or major loss of silvering. There are a couple of age related marks which are consistent with a mirror of this age, but do not detract from its beauty & are negligible when the mirror is hung. All five sections are mounted on a wooden backboard & are attached with traditional metal clips, the original fixtures & fittings are on the rear also. This is a quality mirror from a period that exudes style, it can be hung portrait or landscape (see pics) & will grace any room, the choice is yours. Size: 101cm H x 53cm W.
